Lo-K-Tor (Locator) Specifications

Vacuum Excavation: Process by which a machine uses high pressure water to quickly, easily, and safely break up the soil, creating a "pothole" in the ground to expose lines, underground utilities, perform maintenance, or track layout of underground equipment.

Trailer

• Axles - Dual 6000 lb. torsion flex axles or equivalent with electric brakes
• Tires - Minimum L235/85R16, 8 hole rims
• Frame - Constructed with a minimum of 2X6X3/16 rectangular steel - all joints wire welded
• Dump - One hydraulic cylinder with controls
• Lights - Equipped with an amber strobe light, 80 pluses per minute and all "DOT" required lights for legal night towing
• Jacks - A drop-down 12,000 lb. capacity crank type bulldog jack (with handle) or equivalent
• Hitch - Equipped with an adjustable pintle hitch
• Emergency Brake - Equipped with a battery powered emergency brake-a-way brake system

Vacuum

• Pump - Jurop PN84 - reverses to facilitate high-speed pressure dumping
• Pump Motor - Self contained and powered by a 20 HP Honda engine with electric start and battery
• Pressure - Produces 26 inches of vacuum and has a safety valve set at 15 psi
• Accessory - Has 50 feet of 3 inch vacuum hose with cam-lock connectors

Spoil Tank

• 800 gallons
• Safety tested at 40 psi
• Equipped with overflow & shut-off valves inside the tank
• Equipped with 20 inch hatch in rear
• Equipped with oil catcher/muffler units
• Equipped with dual sight glasses - if damaged, any 2" pipe plug can be inserted
• Elevates for easy cleaning - hydraulic, remote controlled

Excavation

• Pressure pump - Piston pressure pump produces 4000 psi of working pressure
• Pump motor - 13 HP Honda engine with electric start and battery
• Fresh water tank - 300 gallon fresh water polyethylene tank
• Anti-freeze protection - 6 gallon anti-freeze tank is plumbed into system
• Accessory - 50 feet of 4000 psi pressure hose, storage reel, and 5 foot pressure sprayer wand with a "turbo tip" attachment
